Custom-designed and manufactured exclusively by Te Akau Racing, the Te Akau Legacy Puffer is a statement piece that celebrates our proud trans-Tasman legacy - representing both our New Zealand and Australian stables. Quality at the forefront. 

Each jacket features the New Zealand and Australian flags embroidered on the sleeve, symbolising Te Akau’s success across both sides of the Tasman, and the unity of our team, horses, and owners wherever we race.

Combining sleek design with premium warmth and performance. Filled with 180 g of 90/10 duck down insulation, it delivers exceptional comfort, lightness, and protection from the elements. It is one that will last for a lifetime, alongside your trackside memories with Te Akau.

Each jacket is crafted to the highest standards - a true collector’s piece designed to be cherished forever. If you have missed out, we can arrange pre-order jackets with around a 4 week waiting time. 

Care Instructions:

• Close all zippers before washing 

• Use a down-specific detergent or gentle laundry detergent

• Skip the spin cycle

• Gently squeeze out excess water, then tumble dry on low or air-dry
  (Add a couple of tennis balls or dryer balls to keep the down from clumping)

For the best fit, we recommend comparing this size guide to a similar garment you already own and love - our measurements are based on clothing, not body measurements.

Measurement Guide:

• Length: Measure straight down from the highest point of the shoulder (where the collar meets the body) to the bottom of the garment.

• Chest: Measure straight across from seam to seam, 2.5 cm below where the bottom of the armpit meets the body.

• Sleeve: Measure from the centre back of the neck, straight across to the outside edge of the shoulder, then down the top of the arm to the end of the cuff.
